About Us


The Orford Triabunna Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit organisation, governed by a constitution and is led by a volunteer Executive Committee. ABN 55 998 548 352.

The Chamber promotes business connections with a community focus. Our aim is to promote and encourage local business, community and Government (Local, State and Federal) to work together to build successful business partnerships.

We operate in an open, transparent, collaborative, respectful & forward thinking manner. Through alliances, partnerships, conversations and communication we aim to work together, share knowledge and have a positive approach to achieve outcomes for our community.

Members utilise the Chamber to network, stay up to date on local issues and learn business skills from each other. Often provided at little or no cost, educational and self-development opportunities are also provided through workshops, business mentoring, seminars and regular guest speakers.

The Chamber is constantly working to increase the awareness amongst our region’s residents and visitors, of the attractions and goods and services available thus promoting our region as a desirable place in which to live and work, and to visit.

OTCC operates with a number of Sub-committees including:
– Tourism
– Events & Festivals
– Infrastructure
– Business Development & Employment


Membership

You do not have to be a resident of our region to become a Member. For example if you base your business in our region on a regular basis (eg a plumber or electrician who carries out work in our region each month) you are welcome to make application.

Chamber Members range from individuals (who have an interest in our region’s growth and economy) to not for profit organisations (who represent their own members) to Businesses who employ local people, the OTCC represents a large proportion of the population of our region.

East Coast Regional Tourism Organisation

As a Member of the Orford Triabunna Chamber of Commerce you are entitled to many benefits offered by ECRTO such as a free business listing on their website, a free listing on the Discover Tasmania website (if your business fits the criteria) and invitations to events, seminars and workshops at little or no cost.
